2026 Granby Parades

Granby will proudly host two community parades in 2026

—our dignified Memorial Day Parade was held on May 25th

—our celebratory Independence Day Parade on July 4th

The Independence Day Parade will step off from the Granby High/Middle School (Hwy 10/202 exit) at 9:00 AM and march to Salmon Brook Park. This event is a celebration of American independence, and parade units are encouraged to enter floats, bring music, and hand-out patriotic swag (with due regard to avoiding litter).

All Parade Units must fill out the Granby Independence Day Parade Sign-Up form.

In keeping with town policy, no candy may be tossed along the parade route, but handing out person-to-person is permitted.

Parade Units from surrounding towns are invited to participate!

Together, we are celebrating the core values of our American heritage.  These were famously illustrated by Norman Rockwell's The Four Freedoms

Additional details on times, participants, and volunteer opportunities will be posted as planning continues. Granby looks forward to coming together for two meaningful and memorable celebrations in 2026.
