Services for Veterans
Post Service Officer
The American Legion’s post service officer (PSO) serves as a link between the veteran or dependent and a representative holding American Legion accreditation. An effective PSO understands benefits afforded to veterans and dependents. PSOs serve as valuable resources to local veterans to ensure that they and their dependents receive their earned benefits.
Post 182's Service Officer is Jim Donaldson. He can help connect members and Veterans with resources to help in times of financial distress. He also can facilitate connecting to the Veterans Service Officer at the Veterans Administration facility in Newington.
Granby Veteran Services Coordinator
Granby Veteran Services Coordinator is Jennifer Kielbasa at the Granby Senior Center.
