American Legion Shannon-Shattuck Post 182 in Granby, Connecticut is an organization for veterans that proudly defends and promotes the ideals of the American Constitution. Since 1917, we have been working together to foster true Americanism, which includes safeguarding our nation’s treasured principles of justice, freedom, and democracy.

As a veterans group, we fully understand the dedication and sacrifice it takes to protect American values and interests here and abroad. That’s why we strive to preserve and tell the stories and memories of our country’s roles during times of strife and wars.
Ride With Us
Our legion riders group allows our members to bond while doing something we all enjoy – riding our motorcycles out on the open road. Meetings are held at the post every second Wednesday of the month. We hold rides depending on the weather and schedule.
